Kai's first email (the untouched version, revel in his spelling and grammar prowess)

Hi mom and pops! I'm doing amazing! My companion is great! Were really different though. His name is Elder Garn! He's from Centerville! how funny is that! My week was pretty good! i found out how much i dont know! haha! We have an amazing district! Elder Fife and Elder Schrader are hilarious. They're just like me! We all work out together and joke around just the same.  They're going to Boston!  Its sad because they're super good guys and friends.  The MTC is a fun time.  They got locked out of their room today after a shower so they had to wait for a key in their towels hahaha! I sent a pic of them! We wake up at 6 in the morning, eat, go to class, eat, study, class, eat, class sleep!  In that order!  The classes are going amazing! We're learning so much! mainly how to teach but the lessons are kind of hard to remember because there are so many points, but i think i'm doing good!  We've had 4 investigators so far (3 are teachers and 1 is a TRC, ask Kaeden what that is) and out of the 7 lessons 2 have been perfect, 3 were okay and 2 were disastrous.  The 2 were with our actual investigator and a teacher.  the bad ones were with teachers so it was a learning experience!  But overall the spirit is so strong here and i love it! 

 Tell Cort im proud of him! i think of him daily and he keeps me up at night! So i'm glad to hear he is doing good! Tell him to keep up the good work and he'll start on varsity next year! 

I have seen sister guthrie but we don't talk.  I think i nodded at her once?  Its hard to look at girls cause it takes away from the spirit...thats a lie...we have this thing where when we see a cute sister we say "Oh hey Elder Leatham!" after a missionary who left after like a day.  And so far we have found 2 Elder Leatham's who Elder Fife and I are planning on getting their emails (for after the MTC of course *winky face*).  

Im proud of chance!  Good job buddy! And getting stuck in lockers happens often to new comers in Middle School >;)

Tell them to not mess up my bed too bad!  I still need it! Ella can keep that cut out as long as she wants!  Ill pray for cort to pass!  

I have everything!  Even a new shirt!  I found Renee and Mash! I couldnt get a picture with Mash but i got Renee! Ill send a few more pics in a minute!

I got my temple Pants! i would love to have some more food sent to me though :)

My life is amazing right now!  The gospel is such a blessing and i can testify that it is true! The book of mormon is true and i know it! with all the down time i get i spend in the scriptures! Crew's picture is my book mark to remind me to be the best example i can be!  The spirit is so strong and is shaping me into what The Lord wants me to be! I love you guys! ill try to get to a computer later on and continue!  We have dinner soon and im about to go down on some food!  Oh and ive gained almost 10 pounds already and am doing a regular 400 lbs on the leg press!  Dad and kaeden can also explain that!
